For Newly Licensed Nevada Agents
Newly Licensed Real Estate Agent in Nevada? Start Strong.
Passing the exam is step one. Choosing the broker who holds your license is the decision that shapes your first year. Summit 23 Realty is built for agents starting from zero, with a coach on your first four transactions and a plan you can actually read.
A brand new license and no transactions yet is a very specific starting point. You are not comparing splits across a book of business, you are trying to figure out who will teach you the job. This page walks through what happens after you pass, what your first 90 days look like, what it costs to start, and the questions worth asking any broker in Nevada before you sign.
What to Do Right After You Pass
1. Get your license issued by NRED
After you pass the state and national portions of the exam, your salesperson license is issued by the Nevada Real Estate Division. It is issued to you, but it stays inactive until a broker holds it.
2. Choose the broker who will hold it
This is the decision that shapes your first year. Look at training, coaching, the full cost picture, and who answers the phone when you have a contract question at 7pm.
3. Join your local association and MLS
Association and MLS membership gives you listing access, forms, and lockbox credentials. Your broker walks you through the applications during onboarding.
4. Start building business on day one
Your first pipeline comes from the people who already know you. A coach and a repeatable daily plan turn that list into conversations and appointments.
